What's on a sheet

  • The family character at the top, so a child knows whose sheet it is.
  • The movement they all share, shown once with arrows.
  • The letters in teaching order, the simplest form first, then the ones built from it.
  • Traced examples that fade to blank lines, the same fade the app uses.

One sheet with c, a, d, o, g and q, all starting from the same curve, teaches the letter-family idea in four seconds. Faster than any paragraph here manages.

Cursive worksheets

Five sheets. Each family shares one hand movement, and every letter after the first is a small change to a movement your child has just learned.

A curve traveling counterclockwise from about two o’clock. Every other letter in the family opens with it before doing anything else.

Sharp changes of direction rather than curves or arches. Taught last, once the hand is confident.

Why paper still matters

A progress bar is a claim. A sheet your child has filled in is evidence, and it is the thing you photograph and send to someone else. Paper also has no outline, which is the point: it is where you find out whether the movement really transferred.

Questions

Are the worksheets really free?
Yes. All of them, for everyone, whether or not you ever install the app. We ask for an email address so we can send them and tell you when the app launches. Nothing else.
What is on each sheet?
One family per sheet. The family character at the top, the movement they share shown once with arrows, then traced examples that fade to blank lines. It is the same fade the app uses, so paper and screen feel like one thing.
What paper size do they print on?
Both US Letter and A4, in one download. The line format matches the app.
What order should we work through them in?
In the order they are listed, if you want the method working for you: each family shares one movement, and the families are sequenced so the hand builds on what it just learned. Within a sheet the letters are already in teaching order, so working top to bottom is right.
